Murukku
(Tamil: முறுக்கு, or Muruku in Telugu or Murkoo), known as Chakli in Marthi and Kannada and Chakri in Gujarati, is a favorite savoury snack popular in India, Sri Lanka, Fiji, and elsewhere among ethnic Indian populations. Murukku is similar to a deep-fried biscuit made from a mixture of urad and rice flour, salt, and flavourings such as chili, asafoetida, ajawain, or cumin. Murukku normally comes in a variety of shapes. This crisp golden-brown snack can be comsumed on its own or as versatile accompaniment. Murukku is believed to have originated in Tamil Nadu, with the town of Manapparai best known for it.Wahahaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
